Improved Insertion for easy placement with less trauma Airtight Seal improves positive pressure ventilation Eight sizes provide a complete adult through neonatal range Single Use Sterile in package ISO 15mm connector All CobraPLAs are Latex Free
For the clinician the CobraPLA is easier to insert than traditional products and provides a more secure and reliable laryngeal seal.
In an emergency situation an ETT can be inserted through the CobraPLA. Ensure the proper sized ETT is used, usually an 8.0mm I.D. or smaller ETT for a CobraPLA size 4, 5 & 6; usually a 6.5mm I.D. or smaller ETT for a CobraPLA size 2 & 3. It is not recommended to use a CobraPLA smaller than size 2 in conjunction with an endotracheal tube.
Patient should be monitored at all times during use.
